Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας ανακοινώνουμε, πως ο Καθηγητής του ΤΕΦΑΑ ΠΘ, Νίκος Κομούτος, εκλέχτηκε Γενικός Γραμματέας της International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP) για
τα έτη 2025-2029. Μια σημαντική εκπροσώπηση για την Ευρώπη και την Ελλάδα στον χώρο της Αθλητικής Ψυχολογίας.
Αξίζει να σημειώσουμε πως ο Νίκος Κομούτος διατελεί μέλος του δικοικητικού συμβουλίου της εταιρίας επι σειρά ετών (2017-2021 και 2021-2025), συνεχίζοντας την παράδοση εκπροσώπησης του Τμήματός μας στην ISSP, αφού νωρίτερα ο Καθηγητής του ΤΕΦΑΑ ΠΘ, Αθανάσιος Παπαϊωάννου, ήταν επίσης πολλά χρόνια μέλος της εταιρίας σε καίριες θέσεις .

We are excited to announce that Professor Nikos Comoutos has been elected as the General Secretary of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP) for the term 2025-2029. This is a significant achievement for both Europe and Greece in the field of sports psychology. Congratulations, Nikos!
It is worth mentioning that Professor Comoutos has been a member of the ISSP board for several years (2017-2021 and 2021-2025). He continues the tradition of our department's representation within the ISSP, following in the footsteps of Professor Athanasios Papaioannou, who also served in key positions for many years.

New ISSP Managing Council (2025–2029) and Acknowledgment of Retired Members.
The International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP) is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 elections for the Managing Council, which will serve from 2025 to 2029.
We extend our warm congratulations to the newly elected team, whose commitment and leadership will continue to strengthen our global community and advance the science and practice of sport, exercise, and performance psychology worldwide.
